LIFE ENERGY SOURCES

As part of the exhibition, Your Best Life Now, I worked with a follower of Joel Osteen, Sonny Lopez. Lopez studied at Princeton’s Engineering Anomalies Research lab in the 1970’s – a lab that was focused on understanding human consciousness within the establishment of physical reality. He is a devoted practitioner of finding health and happiness through higher consciousness. I resurrected a phone service from 1980 called Life Energy Sources – a direct line to Lopez, whose hugely successful services in 1980 included healing over the phone for $4.95/minute. Interested in counter-culture and fringe, this piece offers a real human on the other line of an analog telephone—a stark alternative to the contemporary life we live on the computer, relying on google and fragments of random information to piece together answers.
