For a complete PDF about this piece (click for downloadable PDF) title: All of the views from one never-to-be-finished luxury house Each of these photographs is one of the ten views out of the windows and doors from one new construction luxury house in the suburbs of Reykjavik, Iceland. Artistically it takes the idea of the traditional pictorial landscape and frames it with the structure and concrete of the unfinished suburban home. Contextually it represents the growth and emulating of Iceland towards the suburban American Dream. After Iceland’s massive collapse of 2008, the piece represents the myriad of houses which will never be finished due to an irresponsible government.
